Hôpital Henry Gabrielle
Opened in 1969, the hospital Henry Gabrielle is specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Nationally recognized, it excels in rehabilitation of neurological affectations, care of medullary wounds, cranial traumas, follows-up post CVA, tumor pathologies and sexological rehabilitation.
The handicap care is global and multi-professional: specialized doctors and specialized nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, orthoptists, instructors of adapted physical activity, psychologists, driving instructor.
It owns state-of-the-art technical equipment for rehabilitation, such as a pool, a gymnasium and a laboratory to analyze movements, which allows deep exams of motor skills.
The hospital plans rehabilitation programs such as intensive training for patients suffering from Parkinson disease. It has also developed numerous partnerships with sanitary structures and associations, and pursues highly-recognized research activities.

This facility offers a recognized expertise in handicap care. Nevertheless, it is getting old and does not correspond to the norms regarding hotel comfort and patients welcoming anymore. It is indeed currently into a project of transfer to the army hospital Desgenettes in 2021.
